During the scheduling or re-scheduling process, you can invite video sites to your meeting. One of the advantages of inviting sites to a meeting is that site line rate, interface type, IP address, ISDN number, alias name and alias type can be pre-set. They can also select to dial in to the meeting when meeting starts or have vMeeting.NET to dial out to them and connect them to the meeting.

During the scheduling process, click on the
icon next to the Video
Sites section on the Scheduling page. The following page will
be displayed.
Select Sites Page
2. Select the interface type. All profile sites of the selected interface type are displayed in the list box.
3. Select the site you would like to invite
from the Address Book and click
on
button to add to the list of Invited Sites.
To navigate through profile sites, you can simply enter * in the Search Field and click Search button, all profile sites will be displayed. Or, you can search for a particular profile site by entering its name, IP address, alias name or even ISDN number and click Search button.
4. Repeat step 3 invite all profile video sites.
5. When finished inviting sites to your meeting, click on the OK button to return to the Scheduling Page and continue the scheduling process.

During the scheduling process, click on the

2. Fill in the guest site information under the Guest Site section, such as site name, attend mode, interface type, phone number and line rate.
3. Click on the Add button to invite the guest site. The guest site will then be added to the Invited Sites list.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to invite all guest sites.
5. When finished inviting sites to your meeting, click on the OK button to return to the Scheduling Page and continue the scheduling process.
If you wish to update video site details,
1. From the list of Invited Sites, click on the particular video site that you wish to update the details.
2. That video site information will be added to the Guest Site list.

Change the details as desired and simply click
on the
button to confirm changes and add the video site back
to the Invited Sites list.
4. The video site with updated details should then be appeared in the list of Invited Sites.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to update other invited video site details.
If you wish to delete invited sites,
1. From the Invited Sites list, select the video sites that you wish to delete from the meeting.
2. Then simply click on the Delete Checked button, the selected video sites will then be deleted from the list.

Attend Mode |
How a video site attends a meeting, by dial-in or dial-out. Dial-In: Video site dials the meeting number to join a meeting. Dial-Out: vMeeting.NET dials out to a video site and connects them to a meeting. |

Interface Type |
Available interface types are IP and ISDN. Video sites can join a meeting through IP or ISDN, depending on individual resources available and licenses purchased. |

IP Address |
The IP address of a video site. This is a mandatory field if Dial-Out is the attend mode selected and IP is the interface type selected. Alias name could be used to replace IP address if video site alias names are available in the network. |

Phone Number |
The ISDN number of a video site. This is a mandatory field if Dial-Out is the attend mode selected and ISDN is the interface type selected. |

Line Rate |
The optimum speed of a video site or the speed that a video site wishes to run at. The Auto Video Bit Rate on the Option page needs to be un-checked for individual line rate to take effect. |

Number Of Channels |
The number of channels that a video site intends to use in the conference when ISDN is selected as the interface type. |
|
Alias Name |
The alias name or prefix of a video site that is registered with the Gatekeeper. This is a mandatory field if Dial-Out is the attend mode selected and IP is the interface type selected. IP address could be used to replace alias name if video site IP addresses are available in the network. |

Alias Type |
The format of the Alias Name as it is configured on the Gatekeeper. Available options are 323_id, e164, url_id, email_id, transport_id and party_number. Currently, only 323_id and e164 are supported. |

Auto
Detect |
Select this option to enable the automatic detection of the line rate of incoming ISDN calls by the MGC Manager and connect the participant accordingly without prior setting of the line rate during conference setup. The participant can be connected in a line rate of up to the line rate set for the conference. |

Aggregation |
Select H221, Bonding, Multi-Rate or Auto to specify communication protocol. |

Restrict

Select this check box if the participant is using a restricted line whose transfer rate per channel is 56 Kbps (instead of 64 Kbps). |
